Policies and procedures set out the rights and responsibilities of the employer and employee. They also provide staff with practical guidance on what to do in particular situations.

Equality Act 2010

By April 2011, most of the provisions in the Equlaity Act will be in force. The Act harmonises, strengthens and widens equality provisions by bringing together nine strands of equality laws and over 100 regulations.
