Conflict Resolution

It is a fact of life that sometimes there is conflict in the workplace.  In many circumstances it is not the actual conflict or disputants that causes the situation to escalate, but the lack of expertise in dealing with situation. Mediation is a method used to try and resolve conflict between parties and build relationships. The skills used in mediation can help those managing and supervising staff to develop skills that will assist them when trying to resolve disputes.

Equality Act 2010

By April 2011, most of the provisions in the Equlaity Act will be in force. The Act harmonises, strengthens and widens equality provisions by bringing together nine strands of equality laws and over 100 regulations.
